Thank you to all the volunteers (teen and adult alike) who helped us host two more successful fundraisers in November in the form of our Turkey Trot Invitational and the Daniel Buchanan Swim of Life Swim a Thon!

December Meet Weekend: RAYS Winter Classic currently has a waiting list for swimmers who aren’t already on our entries with “Approved” events. Please be patient, and understand that I cannot guarantee additional entries at this point. The meet is very full.

1/25-1/26 - PennDel League Washington Division Champs @ WCAY: ALL TEAM MEMBERS FROM ALL AGE GROUPS ARE EXPECTED TO ATTEND THEIR AGE GROUP’S SESSION OF THIS MEET

Invitational Meet Signups in January/February: Various meets from January onward are still open for entries. Please review all of the invitational offerings in January and February (FCA Distance, John DeBarbadillo Invite at York, RAYS Frost Fest, UDAC Closed Invitational, etc).

OTHER NOTES FOR FAMILIES:
Annual Bill Heebner Winter Freeze Masters Meet- 1/12/2025 8:00am-2:15pm: Our PAY teens and families host and run this annual meet for US Masters Swimmers as a fundraiser for our PAY swim team and as a benefit to Masters Swimmers up and down the East Coast looking to compete in a short course meter pool. Come ready to cheer on world record holders and swimmers ages 18 through 90+ years young trying to break those records! Any COACH or PARENT wanting to swim must be a 2025 registered USMS swimmer (as an independent or with a Masters team) through USMS.org then online registration for this Masters Meet via ClubAssistant.com. PAY Adult and Teen Volunteers are needed for all jobs- please sign up on the associated JobSignup under this Event. THANKS IN ADVANCE. We'll have snacks and drinks for all volunteers.
ANGEL TREE GIFT WRAPPING PARTY-REMINDER: Our Senior/PreNat/National swimmers are encouraged to take part in our annual Angel Gift wrapping party. This is a long standing PAY tradition in which the senior swimmers volunteer their time to wrap gifts donated to the Y for families in need in the Phoenixville area. This year, the wrapping party will take place on Monday, December 9th, immediately following practice. Practice will end at 6:15pm, and your swimmers will report upstairs to the IG Room at 6:30pm for food and fun.
ALL TEAM HOLIDAY PARTY- On Thursday, December 19, we will be having an ALL TEAM Holiday party in lieu of practices. There will be teams, fun games, and snacks for your swimmers! More details to come, but wanted to get the date out to everyone. Please be on the lookout for a Team Unify notification where you can RSVP to the event, as well as sign up to donate any snacks/goodies.
