December Meets:
RAYS Winter Classic currently has a waiting list for swimmers who aren’t already on our entries with “Approved” events. Please be patient, and understand that I cannot guarantee additional entries at this point. The meet is very full.
MEET SIGNUPS: Please review all events and USA/Y invitational swim meets posted within our TeamUnify/GoMotion and RSVP to attend the upcoming meets HERE. Meets from January onward are still open for entries.

OTHER NOTES FOR FAMILIES:
November 10th-Our Annual Turkey Trot Meet is almost here! Please sign up to contribute food/drinks to the coaches/officials’ lounge or snack bar and please sign up to volunteer for the posted adult positions. We also welcome all teens as volunteers for this home meet. Volunteer/Food/Drink Signups are under the Team Events Page: HERE
On November 9th, the PAY swim team will participate in the Daniel Buchanan Swim For Life Swim-a-Thon. This event will take place during our normal Saturday practice block starting at 10AM. We are asking swimmers, and their families, to raise money to support the Daniel Buchanan Swim for Life Fund, which provides scholarship opportunities for swim team and swim lessons. Donations will be made online through Daniel Buchanan Swim For Life - Campaign (philaymca.org). There are two ways for swimmers, friends and family to donate: flat amount or per lap. For per lap donations, we are including a cap number for each group so you can make an educated guess on what to donate. Please refer to the times and lap estimates below:

10:00AM-12:30PM Nat/Pre Nat/Senior 320 Laps
12:30-2:30PM Senior Prep 1 and 2 280 Laps
2:30-4:30PM Junior 1 and 2 240 Laps
4:30-5:30PM Novice 1, 2, and 3 110 Laps
For swimmers who solicit per lap donations, the donation page will remain open after the event to donate. Each swimmer will be given a piece of paper at the end of their swim with at total number of laps. For sake of convenience we are ok if you use the estimated lap totals to drive your donations. Thank you for helping to continue the legacy of Daniel and providing the community with the opportunity to learn and love to swim!
