We are 6 weeks into our Fall/Winter season and are already on a ROLL!

MEET RESULTS:

The Bill Schmidt USA Invitational Meet Results are now uploaded to TeamUnify.

CONGRATULATIONS to Nick Darragh, Ellen Le, and Ryan Whitlock for breaking team records in the 15 & Over Boys 100 IM, 11-12 Girls 1650 Free, and 11-12 Boys 1650 Free respectively!

The Blue/White Intrasquad Meet was a smashing success. Lots of friendly competition amongst teammates under the Friday night lights!

GREAT PERFORMANCES from both our girls team and boys team in their wins over WCAY in our first dual meet of the season (257-105 & 4 age groups to 1 for the girls + 227-128 & 4 age groups to 1 for the boys).

Thank you to all the volunteers who have assisted at our home and away meets so far!  We can’t attend or host meets without our family volunteers!

11/23-11/24 - Tournament of Champions @ York YMCA (YMCA Invite that is open to ALL TEAM MEMBERS)

OTHER NOTES FOR FAMILIES:

SUPER SENIORS- Congratulations again to our Class of 2025 Super Seniors whom we recognized at our home meet last weekend.  These 10 swimmers are amazing role models and we applaud each and every one of them as they conclude their first quarter juggling all that they do. We’ll have more shout outs for them throughout the year.

PAY TEAM T-SHIRTS- if your swimmer hasn’t picked up their team tshirt yet then please see Coach Kate or Coach Dave for pickup.  All swimmer names are written on the shirt or tag to help if misplaced.  There are a few tshirts leftover for sale - all kid/adult sizes- first come, first served, for $10.  If interested, please email volunteer Claudia Zinn at claudiavian7@yahoo.com or Coach Kate at Kathryn.Deeney@philaymca.org.  

Personalized TYR BATHING CAPS- our September order of the TYR personalized bathing caps have not arrived yet but we did file personalized caps this weekend in family folders for many swimmers who did not pick up their caps from last season or the summer.

FACEBOOK-Come follow “PAY Swimming” on Facebook to celebrate the achievements of all of our kids.  Even better, text or email your child’s photo and “brags” from our swim meets to swim mom Donna Hungarter to share on the PAY Swimming page at (484) 686-3156 or  dmhungarter@gmail.com. And, we have a private “PAY Swim Parents” Facebook page that will be a parent-share page for quick questions, etc.  Search for PAY Swim Parents then you’ll be instructed to type in your child’s swim practice group and someone will approve your request if your swimmer is on our PAY team this year.  This private site will be monitored for content and is not meant for photos.
