COACH NOTES: It has been great to see everyone back in the pool!! All coaches are happy to see your swimmers and excited for the new season!
9/18/2024 6pm- ALL PARENTS PARENT INFORMATIONAL ZOOM MEETING- Coaches will be hosting a Parent Q&A via Zoom on Wednesday 9/18. We will give a general overview of the season as well as various things to expect throughout the season. This will be geared towards new parents/families, but all parents/families are invited to attend. Please commit to the event on TeamUnify/GoMotion in order to receive the Zoom link: HERE
MEET SIGNUPS: Please review all the October and November events and USA/Y invitational swim meets posted within our TeamUnify/GoMotion and RSVP to attend the upcoming meets ASAP HERE. More details are provided in the email sent out 9/9/2024 from Coach Dave. Note that as of 9/9 the TENTATIVE PennDel Dual Meet dates are posted as “SAVE THE DATES” on TeamUnify/GoMotion. We still await the league’s confirmation/approval of these dates. As such, these SAVE THE DATES are still SUBJECT TO CHANGE. Thank you for your patience with this.

OTHER ITEMS FOR FAMILIES:
***SWIMMER’s T-SHIRT SIZES: This week we need all parents or swimmers to go into their Team Unify account to add or edit their t-shirt size for each swimmer (under your Account and then Member data in Team Unify). We will be ordering the swim team t-shirts using the data collected in the database soon and if the t-shirt size is blank, then we will be guessing their size. Please note that shirts sometimes shrink and many swimmers like larger sizes to cover their bathing suits. You need to choose Youth sizes or Adult sizes in the dropdown menu. Youth XL and Adult XS are not options from the vendor so please list Youth L or Adult S instead if that is your swimmer size. List a size large when in doubt!! Thanks!
***SWIMMER’s PERSONALIZED BATHING CAPS: We are placing an order of light blue PAY personalized (last name) bathing caps into TYR later this month for any swim team member who doesn't have TYR personalized caps for the upcoming fall/winter season. Each order will come with 2 caps. Please commit “YES” to the event on TeamUnify/GoMotion HERE if your swimmer has lost or ripped their PAY personalized cap AND if they wear them. (If your swimmer has a stash of personalized light blue caps already at home or if they tend to prefer to wear other PAY caps at meets, then please respond "Decline" at this time).
SAVE THE NIGHT 9/17 for our TYR VENDOR REP coming to our Y 5:30-7:30pm! Our TYR vendor will have tables set up near the swimmer locker rooms. Practice suits and gear will be on sale to take home immediately AND there will be suits available for suit fittings for our team suit and to help determine your swimmer’s 2024-25 size. If you have any questions for TYR about our suit/equipment portal or sizing etc, this is the time to catch them in person!
TYR PORTAL - And if you can’t make it to the Y on 9/17 to meet our TYR representative,please visit our TYR team portal if you need a team swim suit apparel or equipment. To register on our team store, visit TEAMS.TYR.COM , click on create account, and use the access code "16659". Once registered you will receive your PAY team's discount as well as any additional promotions etc! ARE YOU READY??? PAY SPIRITWEAR by TUTTLE MARKETING- If you are new to our team or if you are itching for some new PAY spiritwear, our TUTTLE PAY SPIRIT APPAREL store will be opening by 9/23…stay tuned for more details. We’ll have spiritwear available in our traditional navy/carolina blue/grey/white combinations…as well as a pink sweatshirt option. The “spring/summer” color spiritwear will return next spring. As a heads up, a second TUTTLE PAY SPIRIT APPAREL store will open later this fall as well in time for holiday gift giving.
USED EQUIPMENT or OUTGROWN APPAREL and SUITS: If your family has used equipment or outgrown gently used bathing suits or apparel to donate to our PAY team, please let Kelly Miller or Claudia Zinn know because we will be having a Previously Used Sale later this month.
PHONE APP- Parents, phone app doesn’t always work perfectly. We do not have a solution for that yet but please know our website www.payswim.org, Phoenixville YMCA swim team Home (gomotionapp.com)or HERE is working for you to commit/sign up to Events. Sorry for the inconvenience.

FACEBOOK-Come follow “PAY Swimming” on Facebook to celebrate the achievements of all of our kids. Even better, text or email your child’s photo and “brags” from our swim meets to swim mom Donna Hungarter to share on the PAY Swimming page at (484) 686-3156 or dmhungarter@gmail.com. And, we have a private “PAY Swim Parents” Facebook page that will be a parent-share page for quick questions, etc. Search for PAY Swim Parents then you’ll be instructed to type in your child’s swim practice group and someone will approve your request if your swimmer is on our PAY team this year. This private site will be monitored for content and is not meant for photos. We will still have our public PAY Swimming FB page, noted above, for sharing photos through parent Donna Hungarter.
