PAY Shout Out for New Officials or Re-certifications and a Shout Out for Additional Parent Board Members

Calling all PAY parents!

1. If you would like to be certified to be a YMCA Stroke and Turn Official (or need re-certification) OR if you would like to upgrade from YMCA Level 1 to Level 2 OR if you would like to learn how to be a Meet Manager (scorer) or a YMCA Administrative Official (overseeing the scoring table), then please reply with your interest.  If you already emailed in the past month, then we have you on our list already.  Y certifications last 3 years (but refs and meet managers need yearly clinic renewals with our PennDel league). Training classes are often in September each year; however, if we have enough interest then we can try to coordinate Zoom training (a 3 hour class with an open-book test) for May or June.  The cost of the training is covered by our swim team.  ***Every year we need more officials to be trained so that we can continue to host and attend away swim meets.  Every team needs to supply these skilled volunteers at swim meets.  Thank you in advance!!

2.  If you would like to join our Parent Aquatic Club (PAC) Board as a member-at-large to help support our team and our coaches behind the scenes on different committees for monthly or seasonal activities such as our Dual Meets, Turkey Trot Meet, Masters Meet, Snack Bars, Communications, Apparel/Spiritwear, Volunteer Coordinating, Awards, Pizza Nights, Hotel Blocks, Fundraisers, Officials Training, etc, etc.   It takes a village so please join our fun bunch of PAC Board volunteers.
