PRACTICES FOR DISTRICTS WEEK:
Monday through Wednesday: NORMAL SCHEDULE (HOWEVER, OUR LAST PRACTICE OF EACH EVENING WILL LIKELY FINISH EARLIER THAN 9:00PM. PLEASE PLAN TO HAVE YOUR SWIMMER PICKED UP PRIOR TO 9:00PM THIS WEEK!!)
Thursday 3/7/24 - DISTRICT QUALIFIED SWIMMERS ONLY:
Nat/PreNat/Senior - 3:30-5:00pm
Senior Prep - 5:00-6:00pm
Juniors (District qualified Novice swimmers are invited to this practice) - 6:00-7:00pm
PLEASE NOTE: WE WILL LIKELY BE CANCELING WEEKEND (FRI-SUN) PRACTICES IN THE MONTH OF MARCH ON OUR DISTRICT AND STATE CHAMPIONSHIP MEET WEEKENDS. (March 8-10 and March 22-24). Please see the notes in yellow below about March/April practices.
IMPORTANT NOTE: UNLESS YOU HAVE RECEIVED EXPLICIT PERMISSION AND APPROVAL FOR YOUR SWIMMER TO PRACTICE WITH A DIFFERENT GROUP ON A PARTICULAR DAY, PLEASE REFRAIN FROM BRINGING YOUR SWIMMER TO PRACTICES ASIDE FROM THEIR ASSIGNED GROUP.

COACH NOTES:
Fall/Winter/Spring Season Clarification:
Our Fall/Winter season draws to a close for all of our non-YMCA National swimmers the weekend of PA YMCA States.
****Non-National swimmers will have two weeks off (the last week in March, and the first week in April). We will start our Spring Clinic and Conditioning program for all groups the 2nd week in April (Monday April 8th).
Spring Team Tryouts:
We will be holding tryout sessions in late March and/or early April for new prospective team members. Please note that space on our team at all levels is at a premium at this point, meaning we are limited in the number of new swimmers we can take.

RAYS Frost Fest at Ridley High School
113 PAY swimmers took part in this exciting single day meet to go for a last chance at Y District, JO, and Y Nat cuts alike!
Congratulations to both our Girls and Boys 200 Medley Relay teams for their new YMCA SC National cuts at Frost Fest:

Charlie Hartley Memorial Silver Championships at GCIT
75 PAY swimmers took part in this Silver Championship meet. CHMSC is a very fun and exciting championship meet experience for our swimmers that do not have YMCA District cuts.
Congratulations to the following swimmers for earning their first ever YMCA District Qualifying time(s) at these meets:
Annie Miller (11-12 Girls 50 Free and 50 Back), Bryce Williams (11-12 Boys 50 Back), Paul Price (13-14 Boys 100 Breast)
This brings our total of District qualifiers to 113!!! I can CONFIRM that we are sending the largest District team to the PA YMCA Central District meet of ANY team!!

FACEBOOK-Come follow “PAY Swimming” on Facebook to celebrate the achievements of all of our kids. Even better, text or email your child’s photo and “brags” from our swim meets to swim mom Donna Hungarter to share on the PAY Swimming page at (484) 686-3156 or dmhungarter@gmail.com. And, we have a private “PAY Swim Parents” Facebook page that will be a parent-share page for quick questions, etc. Search for PAY Swim Parents then you’ll be instructed to type in your child’s swim practice group and someone will approve your request if your swimmer is on our PAY team this year. This private site will be monitored for content and is not meant for photos. We will still have our public PAY Swimming FB page, noted above, for sharing photos through parent Donna Hungarter.
