IMPORTANT NOTE: UNLESS YOU HAVE RECEIVED EXPLICIT PERMISSION AND APPROVAL FOR YOUR SWIMMER TO PRACTICE WITH A DIFFERENT GROUP ON A PARTICULAR DAY, PLEASE REFRAIN FROM BRINGING YOUR SWIMMER TO PRACTICES ASIDE FROM THEIR ASSIGNED GROUP.

PennDel Washington Division Championships at Reading YMCA
91 PAY swimmers took part in this league championship meet.
Our 8 & Under Boys, 9-10 Girls, 11-12 Girls, and Girls team overall were recognized for winning the Washington Division this winter season.
John DeBarbadillo USA Invitational at York YMCA
60 PAY swimmers took part in this USA swimming invitational. 60% lifetime best times were posted teamwide, which is as high of a percentage as any full weekend invitational meet we have had all winter season to date.

Bowling Party for District Qualifiers @ Arnold’s in Oaks, PA
TIME TO CELEBRATE OUR YMCA DISTRICTS QUALIFIERS! Sunday March 3 from 2:15-5:00pm at Arnolds Bowling in Oaks PA 2:15pm-5:00 pm. RSVP on Team Unify by Feb. 24! Bowling for 1 hour then pizza/drinks/free time in the arcade with a game card. We are working on the details but cost may be around $20/swimmer. If your swimmer has qualified for YMCA Districts in at least one event, then you can sign them up to attend but if your swimmer is aged 12 or Under, you must have an adult stay on the premises during the event- or a fellow swimmer's parent to be your adult chaperone, etc. (there is a bar and food area for parents attending.)
YMCA Central District Championships @ York YMCA’s Graham Aquatic Center in York, PA
Our culminating team championship meet for the winter season where all qualifiers are expected to attend and show support. Click on the link below to see if your swimmer has qualified for districts and in what event(s). Any questions, please ask a coach.

OTHER ITEMS FOR FAMILIES:
THANK YOUs- Thank you to all the volunteers who continue to sign up and show up on deck at the meets as scorers, runners, console operators, timers and officials. We can’t attend or host swim meets without a lot of adult volunteers! Stay tuned for our volunteer requirements and signups for all the upcoming February meets. Thank you!
EXTRA TSHIRT ORDERS for families for Districts/States- PAY will be ordering a tshirt for the swimmers who qualify for Y Districts/States. The shirt color will be hot pink to stand out on deck- and in the stands. The qualifiers will get their free shirts automatically via an order from the shirt size you have in their team unify account so please verify that their tshirt size is correct in our database. If any family member wants to order our Districts/States short sleeved t-shirt this year, you must RSVP via the Job Signup under the "Additional Non-Swimmer Tshirt Orders for Districts/States Event" in Team Unify. Add the family member name and the the tshirt size(s) for your extra order. RSVP for the additional shirts by February 9th. The extra "family" tshirts ordered will be invoiced to your account. We don't know the price yet but it will probably be about $8/shirt. Available sizes are Youth Large, Adult Small, Adult Medium, Adult Large, Adult XL, Adult XXL.
SAVE THE DATE for our PAY END-OF-SEASON AWARDS DINNER at Rivercrest Golf Club- Wednesday, May 8th for all PAY families. More details will follow within a few months.

FACEBOOK-Come follow “PAY Swimming” on Facebook to celebrate the achievements of all of our kids. Even better, text or email your child’s photo and “brags” from our swim meets to swim mom Donna Hungarter to share on the PAY Swimming page at (484) 686-3156 or dmhungarter@gmail.com. And, we have a private “PAY Swim Parents” Facebook page that will be a parent-share page for quick questions, etc. Search for PAY Swim Parents then you’ll be instructed to type in your child’s swim practice group and someone will approve your request if your swimmer is on our PAY team this year. This private site will be monitored for content and is not meant for photos. We will still have our public PAY Swimming FB page, noted above, for sharing photos through parent Donna Hungarter.
