Early Week PAY Swim Team Reminders and Requests for Saturday's home meet

REMINDER about changes in swim practices for ONLY THIS WEEK:

REMINDER about Committing/Declining your swimmer's personalized PAY bathing cap for the fall/winter season.  Please signup this week under the associated Event in Team Unify for the personalized bathing caps for our pre-season order to help us be at the front of TYR's queue.  All swimmers this fall will receive 2 personalized bathing caps...light blue for our upcoming season.  If you end up opting out of the fall/winter, that's ok.  TYR will cancel those caps but they are looking forward to printing as many as possible "pre-season".

REMINDER about our home swim meet Saturday morning.  Red/White/Blue Theme for any who want to participate and dress up in the holiday colors at the meet!!  Please sign up to volunteer at our home meet if your swimmer is attending.  The Job Signup is linked under the July 1 Event in Team Unify.  We have 103 PAY swimmers attending so our team should easily fill all our volunteer jobs.  Thanks in advance!  Another way to help - please signup to bring a donated food or drink item for our home swim meet on Saturday for our team snack bar.  The Job Signup for food/drink donations is also now posted in Team Unify.  Thank you in advance!  All donations should be brought to the outside pool near the baby pool between 7:30-8:00 am on Saturday.  All items will be sold for a dollar during the meet.

REMINDER about Used Equipment or Used Apparels/suits. Please ask your swimmers if they have items they have outgrown that they could donate to our Used Equipment/Apparel table during the swim meet on Saturday.  If so, please contact Kelly Miller or Claudia Zinn.  We can collect these items this week or on Saturday.  We have a lot of new families that would love the option of second-hand equipment/apparel.  The items we had 2 weeks ago went quickly!  All items are sold for a few dollars (cash only) to benefit the swim team.

REMINDER about the summer team shirts. We still have a bunch of yellow summer PAY shirts to hand out to swimmers who we keep missing so we will have your swimmer's shirt at the Used Equipment and Snack Bar tables during Saturday's meet.  If you joined in June and you didn't get added to our tshirt list yet, please reply and your swimmer will be added to the second order we'll be placing soon.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST- LOST AND FOUND black umbrella at UMLY Friday...so with this weather we all are in need of umbrellas! If you attended the Cure for Cam meet at UMLY on Friday, please check your umbrella....you may have picked up the wrong one by mistake.  Attached to this news is an umbrella found at the meet by one of our PAY moms but her similar umbrella is missing. Sounds like two people may have mixed up each other's umbrellas.  Please reply if you need to switch umbrellas and I can help coordinate.
